Jewelry from Nepal: Individual Pieces

Another piece of jewelry from the Middle Hills of Nepal, this silver choker is also made of resin-filled silver. Several stylistic elements are combined here to make this piece. Three chased rectangular pieces set off four groups of four rows of four round elements each. These pieces are threaded with four strings thru red glass beads onto two triangular tapered ends.

The piece measures 11-1/2 inches in length. Note that there is some damage to the left tapered end. It has been dented.
