They cost us several times as much as lesser pieces, but we believe in carrying the best pieces available.Most of the "Tibetan furniture" you see on eBay and in many shops has been recently painted and doctored up in various ways. These are the pieces we pass by, either because they are outright fakes or because they are of inferior quality. Our prices reflect what we have to pay for superior pieces. Compared to what one has to pay for American or European antiques of similar age, we still believe that Tibetan furniture is a great bargain.
